A collaborative study on identity with body movement artist Yannick. Congolose-born who grew up in diaspora, as the only black child in a small Italian town.

We met in London, while on his process of understanding masculinity and what it means to be a black man today, not fully part of Congo, yet not fully part of Europe. Back then he wanted to return to Africa, but later he told me he has found it through dance and movement until he can physically get to that geographical place.

All these conversations made me think of his body, his melanin, and the outer layer containing his self as a topographic landscape. A terrain of experiences, and features filled with stories.
